Happy St Patricks Day!! I have never celebrated St Patricks Day obviously as I am not Irish and I don't live in Ireland but working in a care home means we use every celebration to make some activities for our residents. We decided to have our own little party at work with Baileys and home made Guinness cupcakes and also some obligatory very silly Irish dancing. We also decided the staff should wear green which gave me the excuse to wear this rather summery dress all day at work. This was another Lindy Bop sale item that I snapped up back in Jan with dreams of warmer days and bare legs. Green has never been a colour I'm naturally drawn too but I love this bright summery shade and the pretty pink tulips make it seem super spring like.
We've been lucky enough to have some gorgeous days in Oxford the past few weeks, including the hottest day of the year so far. I love watching the seasons change and the sunshine start to appear, when we took these photos it was actually warm enough for bare legs. We then sat in the golden sunshine as the sun slowly set, Russell smoking a cigar and me taking pictures of flowers. Those lazy simple warm days spent outside are the best in my book and I can't wait to have some more soon.
What I Wore...
