National Trust season has returned! It makes me so sad when loads of the National Trusts close down for the winter and although we still enjoy going for walks in the grounds its nice to be able to explore the house and gardens too. Last weekend we decided we fancied exploring somewhere new and Claydon was on the list of places close by I wanted to visit. I was really pleased we went this time of year as there were golden daffodils everywhere and although the sun stayed firmly behind the clouds all day the flowers helped to make it feel bright and spring like. The great thing about having National Trust membership is that we can enjoy a place for a short time without worrying about getting our moneys worth. We only had a few hours on Saturday so we had a quick tour round the house, a look into the beautiful church and then a nice walk around the grounds. We stopped on the way home for dinner at Nando's which really topped off a lovely chilled Saturday.

You might recognise the dress I am wearing from one of my previous posts about my favourite pieces at Sainsbury's.  Although there were many favourites in the spring collection this little dress was a winner for me. Its incredibly comfy and feels a bit like you're just wearing a big t-shirt and at £14 its a total steal. I also loved the style of it as it reminded me a bit of something you might wear over a bikini in the south of France. I'm looking forward to styling it up differently in the summer, but for now I'm not brave enough to go without tights and cardigans.
